Vehicle Rentals Information

Mountain Adaptive has available lowered-floor minivans and a commercial full sized van for rent on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Minivans all have 10-inch lowered floors, fold-out ramps, front passenger seats on trolley bases, manual tie-down straps and seat belt extensions. The minivans can transport up to two wheelchair passengers. The full size commercial van has a raised roof, platform lift, and can transport up to three wheelchair passengers.

• Clean, safe vehicles.
• Delivery and pick-up with a minimum three day rental for a fee. (Call for fee amount.)
• Hand Controls installed. (Fee applies.)
• Easy to use retractable tie-down straps in every minivan. Additional sets of tie-down straps and seat belts available.

General Vehicle Rental Information

• Mileage - There is a 100 mile per day mileage allowance for van rentals at no charge. Excess mileage will be charged at 30 cents per mile.
• Insurance - All drivers and renters are required to carry adequate personal automobile insurance which extends to rental vehicles.
• Gas - We provide a full tank of gas for your convenience when you pick up your rental vehicle. We ask that you return the vehicle with a full tank of gas. Otherwise, our charge is $5.50 per gallon for us to refuel.
• Smoking - All Mountain Adaptive rental vehicles are non-smoking. If there is evidence of smoking in the vehicle the rental rate will be adjusted to $150.00 per day.
• Excessive Soiling - In the event of excessive soiling (beyond normal usage) of Mountain Adaptive rental vehicles, a cleaning fee may be assessed. (Minimum of $50.00.)
• Pets - Animals are not allowed in any Mountain Adaptive rental vehicles. If there is evidence of animals, a cleaning fee will be assessed. (Minimum of $50.00.) Service animals are permitted, but cleaning fee will apply.
• Drivers must be 21 years of age or older.
• Drivers must use the OEM driver's seat. Wheelchair drivers must, therefore, be able to transfer from wheelchair or scooter to driver's seat.

Scooter Rental Information

Our most popular equipment rental is the scooter. We proudly rent PrideMobility Go Go scooters. These little scooters are small but tough, and disassemble quickly without tools to transport easily in the trunk of most cars.

Transport Chair and Manual Wheelchair Rental Information

Transport Chairs are lightweight and great for pushing around a loved one who is not able to propel themselves.

Manual Wheelchairs can be used to push the rider or can be propelled manually by the rider.

Both chairs are folding and will fit into most medium to large size trunks.

Power Wheelchair Rental Information

Power wheelchairs are great for customers who need to be able to maneuver in tight spaces. Call today to reserve a power wheelchair to use with your lowered-floor minivan rental!
